Acrobatics
In China, there is evidence that acrobatics has been part of Western culture since before the Han dynasty, over 2500 years ago. The stunt was part of the village harvest festivals during the Tang Dynasty. The acrobatics continues to be an important part of many modern Chinese arts and fitness.
The Pa-Kua Chinese Acrobatics is a class that develops core strength, balance and many stabilizing muscles important for the practice of individual
and group poses, acrobatic and other basics. Using specific
acrobatic postures improves the flexibility of the student. A keen
awareness and connection transpires between the body and mind over the acrobatic training exercises.
The Pa-Kua Chinese Acrobatics benefits by obtaining a physical
defragmentation by exercising the body and mind. Have a therapeutic
benefit by working through your physical and mental control. It's fun
because it works in conjunction with colleagues in the balance of two
or more people who support each other in acrobatic postures.
Everything is taught according to the student's abilities. You will gain all
the strength and skills before advancing to the next level of training.
You will continue your training until you feel ready, working with your
Master or instructor, to overcome your fears or doubts. You will
gradually learn: hand stand, star, butterfly, bridge, kip-up, flip, mortal,
and much more!.
